A Conference on Making Peace Theology Relevant
to the Challenges of Conflicts in Africa.
Part of the Bienenberg Historic Peace Church Series of Conferences
Engaging with the World Council of Churches' Decade to Overcome Violence.
Purpose
The purpose for WATU KWA AMANI is to provide an occasion for various African
peace church leaders along with peace church leaders from other continents
to address the theological, institutional, and praxis issues that arise
in the African context. This endeavor will enhance the theological discussion
and related issues surrounding the World Council of Churches' Decade to
Overcome Violence.
